The braided leather over the handle is gorgeous and gives a solid grip. With 25 falls of genuine suede, it's got a nice weighty thud without being harsh. Way softer than I expected for real cowhide.

Nine inches of handle feels substantial without being clunky, and the leather braiding gives it a nice grip. The purple and black suede is real cowhide, you can tell by the texture and weight. Been using it a few weeks and the falls haven't frayed at all.

The suede on these falls is genuinely soft, not that plasticky stuff you sometimes get. The braided handle feels solid in the hand too, and the 25 falls give a nice even spread. Purple and black combo looks even better in person.
