The braided handle really does make a difference, it sits balanced in my hand instead of feeling tip-heavy like my old one. And the cowhide lace has a nice weight without being clunky, which I wasn't expecting at this size.

Wasn't sure how 25 falls would feel compared to my old heavier one, but the cowhide lace is surprisingly light and snaps exactly where I aim. The 7 inch handle sits balanced in my hand, and the red and black strands look even better in person.

The braided real leather handle gives it a nice balanced feel in the hand, way better than the plain wrapped ones I've tried. All 25 falls are actual cowhide lace, so they land with a good snap without being too heavy. Been using it a few weeks now and the leather's only gotten softer.
